County plans $110,000 donation for Glade Run Lake

Butler County is poised to give the Glade Run Lake Conservancy $110,000 for the dam restoration project in Middlesex Township.
The county commissioners on Wednesday are set to vote on a resolution designating the money, which would be distributed half this year and half in 2015, for the conservancy.
The commissioner this morning set their vote for Wednesday.
The county would keep the money, which would come from natural gas drilling impact fee funds allotted to the county, in a restricted fund until the conservancy presents documentation that the project is under way.
The county previously donated $4,000 to the project.
