Regarding the front page article “Utility road fixes can cause concern” (Sept. 13):

I’ve addressed City Council several times over the years about the destruction of our streets by utility companies and private contractors. While I’m glad to see the City finally getting serious about this issue, I find it interesting that the Butler Eagle chose to run this article less than two months before the municipal election.
