Volunteers tackle improvements at VA Butler Healthcare
BUTLER TWP — More than 100 people who work at Home Depot stores volunteered Thursday to help spruce up the outside at the VA Butler Healthcare campus.
James Mateo, manager of the Home Depot in Butler, said the company donated $30,000 in products and the workers donated their time.
Among the projects are a new, 24-by-24-foot deck leading into the court yard, new planters, benches and grills.
The project was in cooperation with the nonprofit organization Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.
