Mother accused of using son to steal
BUTLER TWP — A Butler mother is accused of using one young son to distract a store clerk and steal money from an unattended cash register.
She apparently used a second young son to stash the loot.
A short time later Thursday afternoon, Butler Township police arrested 28-year-old Christine M. Petrarulo at the Greater Butler Mart on Route 8 south.
She was placed in the Butler County Prison to await arraignment on charges of child endangerment, corruption of minors, theft and receiving stolen property.
