Suspect in armed robbery arrested today
Butler police today arrested a second person in last month’s armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver.
Tanya M. Johnston, 23, allegedly helped her roommate, 23-year-old Kyle Bouie of Philadelphia, in the Oct. 16 set-up stickup at a neighbor’s apartment in the same East Locust Street duplex they shared, police said.
District Judge Pete Shaffer arraigned Johnston on first-degree felony charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. She is free on her own recognizance.
Police arrested Bouie soon after he allegedly robbed at gunpoint a delivery driver for Pizza Hut in Butler.
Bouie remains in the Butler County Prison on combined $300,000 bail in connection with the holdup as well two unrelated felony drug cases.
