Chris and Kristina Skocik
Kristina Bennett and Chris Skocik, both of Columbia, Md., were united in marriage Oct. 24 at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Albert Semler officiated. A reception followed at Greek Orthodox Social Hall in Oakmont.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Jan Bennett of Saxonburg. Parents of the bridegroom are Ed and Caroline Skocik of Bridgeport, Ohio.
The matron of honor was Traci Moran of Richland, Wash. Bridesmaids were Michelle Nelson of Gaithersburg, Md., Sarah Lippai of Clermont, Fla., Diane Briczinksi of Odenton, Md., and Catherine Paquin of Severn, Md. The flower girls were Jenna Rieck of Midlothian, Va., and Elyse Glusko of White Lake, Mich.
Performing the duties of best man was Mark Skocik of Littleton, Colo. Ushers were Michael Skocik of Chicago, Matthew Skocik of Mt. Lebanon, Kevin Kish of Dublin, Ohio, and Robert Bennett of Sarver. The ring bearer was George Glusko of White Lake, Mich.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University. She is employed by NASA in Greenbelt, Md.
The bridegroom graduated in 1992 from Saint John's Central High School and in 1997 from the Ohio State University. He is employed by Qinetiq North America in Greenbelt, Md.
Following a honeymoon trip to Northern California, the couple is making their home in Columbia, Md.
