Oktoberfest features parade, entertainment

EVANS CITY— The borough's annual Oktoberfest and car cruise will pair up this year for events today through Sunday.

The three-day event offers craft and food vendors, as well as a parade and contests, along with the annual car cruise featuring a concert by Johnny Angel and the Halos.

Other musical acts include local musician John Burg and one-man band Waldo Young.

Following is a list of events:

9 a.m. to 7 p.m. — Craft and food vendors10 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Tour of historical society10 a.m. to 7 p.m. — Evans City Library used book, video and DVDsale4 to 6 p.m. — Waldo Young, one-man band5 to 6 p.m. — Walker's Mini Horses6:30 p.m. — Little Miss and Mr. Oktoberfest Contest
