Wetzel

Teresa Faye Wetzel, 71, of Sarver, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at her home.

Born Aug. 7, 1954, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of John Smith and Carrie Cosentino Smith.

Teresa worked as an inspector for Associated Ceramics, retiring in 2021 after 46 years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church. She enjoyed bowling, crafts and sitting by the fire.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas L. Wetzel, whom she married Sept. 26, 1975; two sons, Thomas L. Wetzel Jr., of Sarver, and Willie (Deanndra) Wetzel, of Natrona Heights; her granddaughter, Ava; four brothers, John Smith, of Cabot, Jim (Sue) Smith, of Hampstead, Md., Rick Smith, of Leeton, Mo., and Dan (Jean) Smith, of Leeton, Mo.; four sisters, JoAnn (Dan) Crytzer, of Freeport, Karen (Rich) Reamer, of Cabot, Pat Smith, of North Augusta, S.C., and Janet (Jim) Ammon, of New Castle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Smith.

WETZEL — Friends of Teresa Faye Wetzel, who died Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
