Denise Texter
Denise Sue O’Connor Texter, 66, of Parker, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at AHN Grove City Hospital, after a period of declining health.
Born in Franklin, Pa., on March 2, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Harley Randall and Fulvey Mae Switzer O’Connor.
She enjoyed working with yarn, crocheting, cross-stitching, plastic canvas and diamond paintings. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was married to Eugene Leroy Texter, who preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 2011.
She is survived by one daughter, Sueann Texter, of Grove City; three sons, Randy (Jessica) Texter, of Parker, Chris (Vonetta) Texter, of Anchorage, Alaska, and Jason (Megan) Texter, of Mercer; her grandchildren, Omariana, Gabriel, Chloe, Samuel, Tegan, Elijah, Roman, Caleub, Kash, Carmello and Kaiden; two stepchildren, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, David Hartzell, of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and Eric O’Connor.
TEXTER — Visitation for Denise Sue O’Connor Texter, who died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at H. JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire.
The funeral will be held the following day, at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5.
Interment will follow in the Eau Claire Cemetery.
