Charlotte Thompson had a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double, but Moniteau fell 43-40 to Maplewood in a season-opening matchup on Friday night. Alyssa Thompson added nine points for the Warriors (0-1).

Kyzir Rowan bucketed 30 points and Demetrius Crosby another 29 as Summit Academy downed Valley on Friday night.
The Knights (1-0) and Vikings (0-1) were playing in the Leechburg High School Tip-Off Tournament.
Lincoln Park 71, Knoch 46 — Vinnie DeFelice had 12 points and Teegan Finucan another 10, but the Knights (0-1) couldn’t keep up with the Leopards. Josh Pratt led Lincoln Park with 24 points.
