Marylou Walker
Marylou Kline Walker, 76, of Connoquenessing, passed away Tuesday night, Nov. 25, 2025, at Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, with family and friends at her side.
Born in Butler on Sept. 21, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Helen E. Nicklas Kline.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Marylou loved to knit and crochet, and camping.
She and Jim, her companion, belonged to the Rodfathers.
She also enjoyed watching Hallmark and Westerns on TV, but above all, she loved her family and spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pam; and a brother, Jim; her former husband, Gary C. Rettig Sr.; and her companion of 23 years, James W. Phillips.
Marylou is survived by one daughter, Tammy (Chris) Bonomo, of Connoquenessing; and one son, Gary (Tina) Rettig Jr., of Connoquenessing; her best friend and sister, Peg Kline, of Connoquenessing; four grandchildren, Josh (Shelby), Nick, Logan and Emily; several great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Marlene Herold, of Prospect; a brother-in-law, Benjamin McCurdy, of Connoquenessing; adopted children, James (Pina) Phillips, Jan (Russ) Genaway and Jodi (Greg) Seddon; and their children. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
WALKER — Friends and family of Marylou Kline Walker, who died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home.
