Calvin Edinger
Calvin L. Edinger, 84, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, in Florida.
He was born March 11, 1941, in Butler, the son of the late Calvin Leroy Edinger and Helen (Shoup) Edinger.
Calvin was a member of the North Street Christian Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Armco after 40 years service. He was a former owner of the Berry Patch in Butler and Grove City. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 272. He loved camping, collecting antiques and Christmas.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Mildred Pearl (Hogg) Edinger; a son, Robert (Peggy) Edinger of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Rhonda (Ben) Douthett, of Butler, and Fauna (David) Hamblen, of Butler; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
EDINGER — Friends of Calvin L. Edinger, who died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
Interment will follow in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
