While some prepared floats prior to the Butler Spirit of Christmas Parade, Ross Morgan did what most dads do to prepare for a house party.
He mowed the grass at Westminster Presbyterian Church on North Main Street, which is on the parade’s route.
Bundled up in a hood and gloves, Morgan ensured the church’s front lawn looked nice, despite the snow.
The traditional holiday parade begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, along Main Street.
