Butler grad Leslie wins for GCC

PITTSBURGH — Butler graduate David Leslie was the winning pitcher in the second game as Grove City College swept a baseball doubleheader at La Roche on Monday.

The Wolverines (12-4) won the first game, 7-4, and the nightcap, 16-2.

Leslie tossed five innings in the second game, striking out six and allowing two runs.

SV’s Greer, Page get PAC honors

NEW WILMINGTON — Seneca Valley graduates Ryan Greer and Brady Page have received Presidents’ Athletic Conference honors in men’s lacrosse for Westminster College.

Greer, as senior attack, was named PAC Offensive Player of the Week. He tallied eight goals and seven assists in wins over Marietta and Marymount in those two games. Page, a freshman attack, totaled six goals and two assists in earning PAC Rookie of the Week honors.
