Sentence Court

The following defendants were sentenced Thursday by Common Pleas Judge Kelley Streib:

Shawna Campbell, 32, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months probation, including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and perform 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence filed by state police following a May 26, 2022, incident.

Daniel P. Morehead, 27, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months probation, including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine, and perform 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge filed by state police following a Sept. 18, 2018, incident. Morehead also was sentenced to serve concurrent sentences of 60 months probation, pay a $4,500 in fines and perform 100 hours of community service after pleading guilty to misdemeanor DUI charges filed by state police and Butler Township police following March 17, 2019, and June 9, 2019, incidents.

Christopher J. Wright, 36, of Rochester, was sentenced to serve 12 months probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of statement under penalty filed by state police following a Jan. 20, 2021, incident.

Patrick R. Connelly, 45, of Mars, was sentenced to serve six months probation and pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge filed by Middlesex Township police following an Aug. 19, 2021, incident.

Joseph Abraham, 82, of Sewickley, was sentenced to serve 18 months probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor theft charge filed by Cranberry Township police for an Aug. 13, 2022, incident.

Stephen D. Colliins, 35, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to pay a $50 fine after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of falsification to authorities filed by Cranberry Township police following an Oct. 20, 2020, incident.

David D. Schrey, 55, of Evans City, was sentenced to serve six months probation, including 7 days on house arrest, and perform 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge filed by Jackson Township police following an Aug. 5, 2022, incident. Schrey also was sentenced to serve concurrent sentences of six months probation, including 49 days on house arrest, and to perform 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge filed by Evans City-Seven Fields Regional police following a June 20, 2021, incident.

Jeremiah D. Heller II, 32, of Tarentum, was sentenced to serve 12 months probation and to pay a $50 fine after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of falsification to authorities that was filed by state police following a March 13, 2020, incident.

Charles Young, 46, of Cheswick, was sentenced to serve six months probation, including 14 days on house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and perform 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge filed by state police following a Sept. 19, 2021, incident.

Dana L. Vanatta, 36, of Butler, was sentenced to serve no less than 11 months plus 30 days and no more than 23 months plus 28 days in prison and was immediately paroled to serve 12 months probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor drug possession charge filed by Butler City police following a Jan. 21, 2021, incident.

Joshua J. Wallis, 32, of Cabot, was sentenced to serve 60 months probation, including 180 days on house arrest, pay a $1,500 fine, and perform 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge filed by state police following a Dec. 7, 2021, incident.
