Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Thursday by Common Pleas Judge Kelley Streib.

Deanna Marie Russo, 53, of Butler, was sentenced to 48 to 72 months in state prison after pleading guilty to felony charges of delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility filed by state police following a May, 8, 2019, incident.

Dylan Edward Havard, 23, of Mercer, Mercer County, was sentenced to 24 months of probation and ordered to pay a $300 fine after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of recklessly endangering another person filed by Slippery Rock police following a May 29, 2019, incident.

Laura J. Broadbent, 60, of Wexford, Allegheny County, was sentenced to 15 months to 60 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 15 months of house arrest, pay a $2,500 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to her third driving under the influence offense filed by Cranberry Township police following a Dec. 3, 2021, incident.

William J Sherbondy, 37, of Baden, Beaver County, was sentenced to nine months to 23 months and 15 days in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve nine months of house arrest after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver filed by state police following a Sept. 22, 2020, incident.

Amy Joan Cantera, 42, of Cranberry Township, was sentenced to six months of probation and prohibited from owning a firearm after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of statement under penalty filed by state police following a Dec. 13, 2020, incident.

Tyler J. Michlich, 34, of New Brighton, Beaver County, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of retail theft filed by Cranberry Township police following a July 12, 2022, incident.

Scott Burgess Rowe, 67, of Butler, was sentenced to 60 months of probation, which can be terminated after 30 days if he commits no other violations, after pleading no contest to two misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats filed by Butler City police following a March 21, 2022, incident and another count of terroristic threats filed by Butler City police following a March 1, 2022, incident.

John F. King, 41, of Cabot, was sentenced to 36 months of probation, including 75 days of house arrest, pay fines totaling $800, complete 40 hours of community service and attend a victim impact panel after pleading guilty to his third DUI offense and possession of a controlled substance filed by state police following a Jan. 12, 2022, incident.

Robert Skiba Jr., 39, of Aliquippa, Beaver County, was sentenced to 60 months of probation, including 12 months of house arrest, pay a $2,500 fine, complete 40 hours of community service and attend a victim impact panel after pleading guilty to his third DUI offense filed by Evans City-Seven Fields Regional police following a Dec. 19, 2020, incident.

Michelle Lee Kaiser, 51, of East Butler, was sentenced to pay a $25 fine after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct filed by Saxonburg police following a Feb. 17, 2022, incident.

Joseph Nico Savage, 30, of Cranberry Township, was sentenced to six months of probation, including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and attend a victim impact panel after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of DUI filed by Cranberry Township police following a Feb. 27, 2022, incident.

Jacob A. Martin-Rivers, 26, of Chicora, was sentenced to 24 months of probation and ordered to pay fines totaling $1,200 and restitution of $85 after pleading guilty to charges in four cases. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and two counts of obstructing emergency service filed by state police following a June 5, 2020, incident. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of theft from a motor vehicle and criminal mischief filed by Butler Township police following a July 7, 2020, incident. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of theft from a motor vehicle filed by Butler City police following a June 5, 2020, incident. He also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of simple assault filed by Butler City police following a separate incident on June 5, 2020.
