The county review of vote counting procedures was suspended due to an illness and will resume Thursday.

The review was suspended for two days because solicitor Wil White, the interim director of the election bureau who is overseeing the review, is ill, but will resume Thursday, said Leslie Osche, chairwoman of the county commissioners.

The commissioners ordered a recount of all votes cast in three precincts in the 2020 election to to determine the time, staffing and cost to conduct hand counts. The review began Monday.

The Middlesex Township South, Donegal Township and Butler City 4-1 precincts were randomly selected for the review, which begins with the Butler City 4-1 precinct.
