It is very common for people, including me, to complain about government services and public employees, so I thought it would be refreshing to catch someone doing something right for a change. For some reason, there is a street sign across the street from our home in Thorn Ridge that someone enjoys knocking over on a regular basis.

As a result, I have called the Penn Township Road Department to report it on two occasions in the past two weeks, and within 24 hours (in one case, within an hour), there was a crew out there putting it back up.

Kudos to the Penn Township Road Department and their employees for being so responsive to our call to action, even for something that was not an emergency. Much appreciated!
