Brick replacement project awaits
Butler County Veterans Services still is waiting for contractors to replace broken bricks commemorating veterans in Diamond Park. Nearly 60 of those bricks, which are called pavers, were damaged in the winter of 2009. The damage occurred to the strip of pavers in front of the Our Silent Defender statue so the entire section will be relocated to the middle of the park.
