Frances D. Dinsmore, 94, of Gibsonia, formerly of Fort Pierce, Fla., passed away Tuesday at Valencia Woods.

She was born Aug. 25, 1915, in Slippery Rock, the daughter of the late Paul C. Dean and Jessie Mildred (Cooper) Dean.

Frances was a graduate of the St. Francis Hospital Nursing School and later worked there. She also worked for Dr. Acquaviva.

She was member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter, in Fort Pierce, Fla.

Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Anita Dinsmore of Butler; a granddaughter, Leah N. (Patrick) Hahn of Oakmont; her extended family, Donna Ponzo, Aaron Ponzo and family, Nicholas Ponzo; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Dinsmore; a son, Allen Stuart Dinsmore, and four brothers.
