Rhonda D'Antuono
Rhonda Schwartz D'Antuono, 55, formerly of Butler, died in the early morning of Dec. 31 at her home in Tucson, Ariz.
Born and raised in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Herbert L. and Irene Schwartz.
She was the domestic partner of Blaine Ford of Tucson.
A 1969 graduate of Butler HighSchool, she received her bachelor of science degree in education in 1973, and her master's degree in reading and language arts in 1974, both from the University of Pittsburgh.
She enjoyed traveling, shopping for colorful items to decorate her home, being an avid reader, solving crossword puzzles, supporting all the arts, listening to the Beatles but, most of all, being an aunt to her niece and nephews.
Her previous occupations included being a reading teacher, a sales representative and, most recently, a financial adviser.
She was the loving sister of Carol Schwartz, wife of Ed Irish, of Williamsburg, Va.; Eve Solow, wife of LeeSolow, of Lawrenceville, N.J.; and Gayle Schwartz of Richmond, Va. She was the aunt of Allyson and Gerrit Irish and Robert and Joshua Solow, and she had a number of cousins.
