Betty L. Povlick Pfabe

Betty Lee Povlick Pfabe, 69, of Butler Township died at 6:13 p.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital

Born in Wilmington, Del., Sept. 6, 1935, she was the daughter of John D. and Mary E. Fediaczko Povlick.

She had been a clerk in the engineering department at Armco-Butler Works and had worked for the FBI in Washington, D.C. She also had been employed at Family Drug Store and at Olen Mills Photography Studios in Butler.

Mrs. Pfabe was a member of St. John's Reformed Church. She was a former member of the Meridian Fife & Drum Corps.

She loved planting and arranging flowers.

Surviving are her husband, Paul W. Pfabe, whom she married May 7, 1955; two sons, Brian and Chris Pfabe, both of Butler; three daughters, Linda Miller of Chicora, Karen King of Butler and Sharon Shoaf of Evans City; and two brothers, William E. Povlick and John D. "Jack" Povlick Jr., both of Butler. Four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

PFABE - Friends of Betty Lee Povlick Pfabe, who died Saturday, April 23, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday atTHOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Robert Peterson, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Reformed Church, Meridian Station P.O.
