The Board of Supervisors of Allegheny Township, Butler County, PA will hold their regular monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month with the exception of May and June when it will be held the third Tuesday, the dates being as follows: Feb. 14, March 13, April 10, May 15, June 19, July 10, August 14, Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11. Notice of Intent to Re-Issue Title V Operating Permit #10-00021
In accordance with 25 Pa. Code § 127.521, the Department of Environ-mental Protection (Department) intends to re-issue a Title V Operating Permit to INDSPEC Chemical Corporation for its facility located in Petrolia Borough, Butler County. INDSPEC’s representative to contact concerning this application is Mr. Terry Melis, Environmental Manager, P.O. Box 307, Petrolia, PA 16050. His phone number is (724) 756-2370.
INDSPEC’s facility is primarily used for the production of cyclic crudes and intermediates. The facility is a major stationary source as defined in Title I, Part D of the Clean Air Act Amendments due to the facility’s potential to emit NOx, SOx, VOCs, PM10, and HAPs.
The facility is therefore subject to the Title V Operating Permit requirements adopted in 25 Pa. Code Chapter 127, Subchapter G.
Copies of the application, the Department’s analysis and other documents used in the evaluation of the application are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Department of Environmental Protec-tion, 230 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
Any person wishing to provide the Department of Environmental Protection with additional information that they believe should be considered prior to the issuance of this permit may submit the information to the Department at the address shown above. A 30-day comment period, from the date of this publication, will exist for the submission of comments. Each written comment must contain the following information:
1. Name, address and telephone number of the person submitting the comments.
2. Identification of the proposed permit (specify Permit # TV 10-00021)
3. Concise statements regarding the relevancy of the information in the proposed permit or objections to issuance of the permit.
A public hearing may be held, if the Department, in its discretion, decides that such a hearing is warranted based on the information received. All persons submitting comments or requesting a hearing will be notified of the decision to hold a hearing by publication in the newspaper or by the Pennsylvania Bulletin, or by telephone, where the Department determines such notification by telephone is sufficient.
