SUMMIT TWP — A head-on collision between two SUVs on Friday morning slowed traffic on Oneida Valley Road.

The Lincoln and Hyundai vehicles came to rest on the north side of the road across from Bob Warren Boat Sales near the Butler Health System's Crossroads Campus.

Dispatchers sent crews to the scene just after 9 a.m.

One person was taken by ambulance for medical treatment.

State Police responded to the blustery scene, along with rescue crews from Oakland Township, Lick Hill and Oneida Valley volunteer fire departments.

Butler Ambulance and East Butler EMS also responded.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known on Friday morning.
