Farkleberry Craft Show is back Nov. 6

Cranberry Women’s Club’s annual craft show will return after a COVID-19-induced hiatus.

The Farkleberry Craft Show, which the club has hosted for more than 40 years, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center.

As has been the case in prior years’ iterations of Farkleberry, the women’s club will provide food, raffles and, of course, crafts.

More than 90 craft vendors will be present at Farkleberry, each selling their wares.

Along with the typical fixtures, also for sale at Farkleberry will be dining cards valid at local restaurants, one of the women’s club’s new means of raising funds.

The women’s club became more creative at raising money last year following the cancellations of its spring tea and Farkleberry fundraisers, having begun a holiday cookie sale.

The cookie sale will continue this year, bringing the club’s total fundraisers each year to three.

The club said it will be able to make its typical philanthropic contributions to local charities as a result of its ability to hold these fundraisers.

According to its website, the club was organized in 1976 as a social, philanthropic and civic organization of women accomplished in career, family and community involvement. Through fundraising events, this dynamic group of women raises approximately $10,000 each year and donates all of it to local nonprofit organizations.
