Extremism subject of library program

CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, will host Shannon Foley Martinez for a discussion about hate and extremism from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 8.

Martinez is a former white supremacist who has spent the past two decades talking about violence-based lifestyles and ideologies.

She will discuss how extremist groups are using social media to spread misinformation and how we can fight back.

The program is presented in partnership with Classrooms Without Borders.
