The following items were collected from local police departments.

State Police, Butler

Oct. 14 — Roy Matthew Weltz, 41, of Slippery Rock was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an offensive weapon, driving with a license suspended or revoked for a third or subsequent driving under the influence offense and two summary traffic violations following a Sept. 14 traffic stop on Route 8 in Clay Township.

Oct. 13 — Ian Michael Moore, 25, of Chicora was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found Sept. 6 in a vehicle being driven by another man that was stopped at the intersection of Center Drive and Shearer Road in Oakland Township. Both men were unconscious when ambulance crews arrived, and were revived with Narcan, police said. He was allegedly found in possession of suspected crack cocaine, morphine pills, an alprazolam pill and a smoking pipe.

On Sept. 28., Moore was charged with making a false written statement to purchase a firearm and making a statement under penalty, and, in a separate incident, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness. Moore is allegedly tried to purchase a firearm from Dunham's Sports in the Clearview Mall while he is a subject of an alleged Firearms Act violation in May. In the second incident, he was allegedly found in possession of a smoking pipe after police responded to a report of a suspicious person on East Drive in Chicora.

Butler Township

Oct. 15 — Jeremy Michael Kutch, 37, of Butler was charged with two counts of DUI and two summary traffic violations after crashing his motorcycle on Highland Avenue on Sept. 17. He was not injured.

Oct. 15 — A driver struck the rear of a disabled vehicle on Route 356 at Moraine Pointe Plaza at 2:30 a.m. The accident is under investigation.
