Repeal Franklin Twp. 101

I want to thank the great crowd that attended the Aug. 16 review of the “new” Franklin Township Maintenance (Zoning) Law.

There are some legal inquiries being made, but there is one way we can get this onerous law repealed — the American way, by education and at the voting booth. The Franklin Township supervisors are elected to six-year terms. Every two years one comes up for a vote. Janet Gray's term ends Dec. 31 at midnight.

The supervisors promoted a zoning board candidate that lost in the primaries with 40.1% to 59.7% for the candidate that opposes the new 101 maintenance law, Nathan Wulff. He spoke very well at the meeting and I think he will make a very good step toward repealing this new zoning that was shoved down our throat.

In 2023, there will be another opening on the board. We can then elect a second “repeal” candidate and get this reversed. The residents will then have a two out of three majority.

In the fall election you can vote for either party. If Democrats care to vote for Nathan Wulff, they may.

If the current supervisors put back in the paid zoning officer and start sending out $300 fines, it will only make it easier to elect a “repeal” candidate.

Oct. 18 is the last day to register and make your voice heard. WWW.VOTE.PA.GOV. Vote Nov. 2.
