Sentence court

The following sentences were handed down Thursday in Common Pleas Court by Judge William R. Shaffer.

Joshua Michael Pethtel, 35, of Saxonburg was sentenced to serve 12 to 36 months in state prison followed by 36 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of sexual abuse of children filed by state police in January 2018. He was given credit for having already served 414 days in prison.

Police charged him with 58 felony charges of child pornography and a misdemeanor charge of possession of an instrument of crime, but the charges were consolidated into the sexual abuse of children charge. The guilty plea requires Pethtel to register with state police for 15 years as a Tier 1 offender under the state’s Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Law.

Bryan Andrew Perri, 32, of Munhall was sentenced to serve 15 to 36 months in state prison, pay $1,745 in restitution to PNC Bank and $895 in restitution to Marathon Quick Stop and pay fines totaling $225 after pleading guilty to charges of theft by unlawful taking, forgery and two counts of disorderly conduct in four separate cases. He was given credit for having already served 407 days in prison. Butler police filed charges in two of the cases. Butler Township police and state police filed the charges in the two other cases.

Nicholas Joseph Campbell, 39, of Butler was sentenced to serve a total of 30 to 72 months in state prison after pleading guilty to charges of burglary and terroristic threats filed by Butler police in February 2020.

Erika Erdean Ringler, 33, of Butler was sentenced to serve 15 to 60 months in state prison and given credit for having already served 135 days in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver filed by county detectives in May.

Arthur Eugene Boring Jr., 55, of Butler was sentenced to serve a total of six to 23.5 months in prison, followed by 36 months of probation, pay fines totaling $2,500 and complete alcohol highway safety school and litter pick-up after pleading guilty to first and second driving under the influence charges and fleeing or attempting to elude police. Penn Township police filed one of the cases against him and Butler Township police filed the other. He will be eligible for parole after serving three months in prison.

Anna Elizabeth Williams, 27, of Butler was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in prison, but was immediately paroled and ordered to serve seven days of house arrest after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by Evans City-Seven Field Regional police following an incident in April. Her sentence included completing alcohol highway safety school and 40 hours of community service.

Raymond Jacob Silak, 41, of Allison Park was sentenced to serve 24 months of probation and have no contact with a victim after pleading guilty to a charge of simple assault filed in April by state police.

Samantha Lynn Graham, 32, of Butler was sentenced to serve six months of probation, pay a $300 fine and complete alcohol highway safety school and litter pick-up after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed in August 2020 by Slippery Rock police.

Keeyonna Rayshonna Clark, 27, of Chicago, Ill., was sentenced to serve a total of 24 months probation after pleading guilty to two counts of criminal attempt to acquire a controlled substance through misrepresentation and two counts of forgery in four separate cases filed in February by state police, Jackson Township police, Butler Township police and Zelienople police.

James Caleb Johnston, 30, of Monaca was sentenced to 30 days to 18 months in prison, but was immediately paroled, followed by 12 months of probation, pay $800 in restitution and ordered to have no contact with a victim after pleading guilty to a charge of criminal mischief filed in September 2019 by Evans City-Seven Fields Regional police.

Brandon Michael Anderson, 22, of Butler was sentenced to serve 72 months of probation, including 12 months of house arrest, pay a $3,000 fine and complete alcohol highway safety school and litter pick up after pleading guilty to his third DUI offense and driving with a suspended license. Charges were filed in March by state police.

Andrew Dow Steele, 67, of Chicora was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of false swearing filed in March 2020 by state police.

Jennifer Lynn Fezza, 39, of Emlenton was sentenced to serve 36 months of probation, including six months of house arrest, and pay $323 in restitution to UPMC Health Plan after pleading guilty to charges of acquiring a controlled substance through misrepresentation filed in May 2019 by the state attorney general’s office.

Jessica Bianca Thomas, 27, of Brooklyn, N.Y. was sentenced to serve a total of 18 months probation, including five days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete alcohol highway safety school and litter pick-up after pleading guilty to charges of DUI and possession of a controlled substance filed in September 2020 by state police.

Keirstan Nicole Wiles, 25, of Sarver was sentenced to serve a total of 66 months of probation, including 119 days of house arrest, pay fines totaling $2,500, pay $4,822 in restitution to Central Electric Cooperative and complete 100 hours of community service and alcohol highway safety school after pleading guilty to her first and second DUI offense and a charge of endangering the welfare of children. Charges were filed in two cases in September 2020 and March 2019 by state police.

Cody Stewart, 28, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of retail theft filed in June 2019 by Cranberry Township police.

Malachi Merrick Graham, 25, of Hermitage was sentenced to serve 30 days to 12 months in prison, but was immediately paroled, pay fines totaling $1,200 and complete alcohol highway safety school and litter pick-up after pleading guilty to charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license and fleeing or attempting to elude police in two cases filed in January 2020 and February 2020 by Slippery Rock police.

Amanda Katherine Platt, 32, of Michigan was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation, pay a $25 fine and pay $107 in restitution to J.C. Penney after pleading guilty to a charge of retial theft filed in February 2016 by state police.

Isaac D. Morrison, 33, of Slippery Rock was sentenced to pay $100 in fines and $689 in restitution after being found guilty in a non-jury trial of charges of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct filed in October 2019 by state police.

Terry Williams, 57, of Butler was sentenced to serve two to 18 months in prison, but was immediately paroled, pay a $25 fine and pay $641 in restitution after pleading guilty to a charge of careless driving filed in January 2020 Butler police and a charge of retial theft filed in December 2019 by Cranberry Township police.
