SLIPPERY ROCK — The U.S. News & World Report released its 2022 Best Colleges rankings and Slippery Rock University appeared on five of the guide's lists. SRU ranked 78th on the “Best Regional Universities — North” list and 22nd on the list of “Top Public Schools — Regional Universities North.” SRU also ranked among regional universities in the North for “Best Colleges for Veterans” (32nd), “Best Value Schools” (43rd) and as a top performer for “Social Mobility” (82nd).

SRU earned a spot on the national publication's Best Regional Universities list for a 13th straight year in 2022.

The rankings are part of the U.S. News & World Report 2022 Best Colleges guidebook, which offers comprehensive advice for high school students and their families on researching college choices.

GROVE CITY — Grove City College moved up eight spots in the 2022 U.S. News Best College Rankings and earned a spot on the respected annual review's Best Value Colleges list.The rankings released this week revealed Grove City College is 105th in the nation for National Liberal Arts Colleges, up from 113th last year and continuing a years-long trendU.S. News bases its rankings on a number of factors in addition to academic excellence. Student outcomes are heavily weighted, so the college's 84% four-year graduation rate and 90% freshmen retention rate, which indicate high student success and satisfaction, are key to Grove City College's rising status.
