BC3 golfers win season opener
FRANKLIN TWP — Troy Loughry shot an even-par 72 Friday to lead the Butler County Community College golf team to a season-opening victory at Lake Arthur Golf Club.
BC3 tallied a 332, beating out Westmoreland CC (398) and Penn Highlands (415). Liam Kosior shot an 80, Tanner Hohmann an 83 and Jack Mason an 87.
The Pioneers play Tuesday at Windber Country Club.
