NEW YORK — Britney Spears' longtime partner and now-fiancé Sam Asghari isn't bothered by the number of fans begging his future wife to get a prenuptial agreement following their engagement announcement Sunday.

In fact, he welcomes it.

“Thank you everyone who is concerned about the prenup!” he wrote on Instagram as he joked about who would benefit the most from the document. “Of course we're getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection (in case) she dumps me one day.”

The witty disclaimer came shortly after Spears shared an Instagram video showing off a diamond ring on her finger with the caption, “I can't (expletive) believe it.” The post drew more than 3 million likes and about 100,000 comments, many by fans advising the wealthy singer to protect her assets.

Even fellow celebrities joined the chorus.

“Make him sign a prenup,” Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer wrote.

Asghari, again showing his sense of humor, replied to Spencer with a “100” emoji.

The prenup suggestions follow Spears' highly publicized court battle to end her father's longtime conservatorship, which allowed him to control her life and finances for more than a decade. After months of court hearings and emotional testimonies, Jamie Spears filed a motion last week asking to end the conservatorship.

The 39-year-old mother of two met her future husband on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016. Asghari, 27, is an actor and personal trainer.

NEW YORK — Crazy Eyes has the googly eyes.

Uzo Aduba, who won two of her three Emmy Awards for playing the zany character on Netflix's breakthrough drama series “Orange Is the New Black,” has revealed she is married.

On Sunday, the actress went public about secretly tying the knot with filmmaker Robert Sweeting in New York last year.

Uduba shocked her social media fans with the surprise announcement, sharing a photo from her nuptials and beginning her caption with a quote from “When Harry Met Sally.”

“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible,” Aduba, 40, wrote before diving into the happy news that she had kept under wraps for the past year.

“For some of us, it can feel like we spend our whole lives waiting for our special someone. My heart, my love — I'm so happy my life started last year with you,” the Emmy-winning “Mrs. America” star announced.

“You're the best thing that ever happened to me.”

LOS ANGELES — Alternative rock legends Foo Fighters accepted MTV's Global Icon Award at the 2021 Video Music Awards, which took place Sunday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Established this year to honor historic figures in popular music, the band is the first to ever win the award.

“An entire generation of music fans grew up with this band,” said Billie Eilish, who presented the award. “They've carried the torch for rock 'n' roll for 26 years.”

Foo Fighters commemorated their big win with a fiery live medley of hits — including their 1999 smash “Learn to Fly” and swooning 1997 anthem, “Everlong.” (New artist winner Olivia Rodrigo was spotted singing along in the crowd.)

The band also performed “Shame, Shame,” a funky cut off their 2021 album, “Medicine at Midnight.” The song's video was nominated for three categories: rock, cinematography and choreography.

In memory of late Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, who died last month, Foo Fighters' Taylor Hawkins scrawled the words “CHARLIE R.I.P.” on the skin of his kick drum. Singer-guitarist Dave Grohl also took the opportunity to thank some of the band's favorite MTV reporters since the network's inception.

“We made a list,” said Grohl. “Kurt Loder, Tabitha Soren, J.J. Jackson, Matt Pinfield, Steve Issacs, Amy Finnerty... Thank you all for this award!”
