Schnur 60th anniversary
John and Joann Schnur of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner.
Schnur married the former Joann Anthony on Sept. 16, 1961, at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
They have four children, Ed (Joyce) Schnur, Joe (Marcie) Schnur, Doug Schnur and JR (Val) Schnur, all of Butler.
They also have four granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
Schnur is a retired Butler County carpenter.
He is a lifetime member of the Herman Volunteer Fire Company and the Happy Hunters of Fenelton.
Mrs. Schnur retired as a nurse’s aide from Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler.
They enjoy spending their winters at their home in Florida.
The Schnurs are members of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
