Let me get this straight:

We were paying the wages of the Afghan soldiers while we have people in this country striving to receive a paycheck.

Not one person in Washington saw anything wrong with this. They all need to go.

We’ve seen photos of Vietnamese people in Saigon who worked for our government hanging from helicopters to flee retribution.

Do Afghanistan’s recent photos look familiar?

I worked checkpoints in Vietnam with South Vietnamese soldiers. If you were going to get hit, they would disappear. That’s a heck of a way to put our lives on the line for them.

The bottom line: We never fight a war to win. It’s just a stupid loss of lives.
