Nancy and Vernon Pollock

Vernon L. and Nancy A. Pollock of Bruin celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at Clifford’s restaurant.

Pollock married the former Nancy A. Walker on Aug. 26, 1961, at Bruin Methodist Church.

They have two children, Brenda (David) Skidmore of Butler, and Gary (Christine) Pollock of Pittsburgh.

They also have three grandchildren.

Pollock retired in 2001 from Witco Chemical in Petrolia after 31 years.

Mrs. Pollock retired in 2005 from Karns City High School, and she is a homemaker.

The Pollocks are members of Bruin United Methodist Church, where Mrs. Skidmore taught Sunday school for 25 years.
