Beer, Wine and Music Fest comes back to Seven Fields

After a hiatus in 2020, Seven Fields will host its third annual Beer, Wine and Music Fest on Saturday.

The event, which features four hours of local booze and live music, will occur in the Seven Fields Town Park and runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Borough manager Tom Smith said he was encouraged by the crowd at the community carnival earlier this month — “it was just nonstop,” he said — and believes the end of COVID-19 restrictions will bring a big turnout for the festival too.

“We're just trying to get back up and running with our normal community events,” Smith said. “I think people are really wanting to get out and get back to some type of normalcy.”

In addition to the typical set of vendors — including Dented Keg Brewing Company, Shubrew and Bella Terra Vineyards — the festival will expand its other offerings.

“We still have the same number of vendors, and we've added entertainment; we now have food trucks,” Smith said.

The entertainment addition doubles how many live bands there will be. The over-age-21 event will host 28 North for its live music from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Major Morgan will provide music from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

It's also running an hour longer than the last fest.

While ticket sales are a bit behind where it was this time in 2019, Smith said he expects about the same turnout this year, if not larger, as the 350-person 2019 festival.

Tickets are available now and on Saturday. Advance purchase tickets are $7, and those buying tickets on the day of the event will have to pay $12. They can be bought online or at the Seven Fields borough office.
