These items were collected from various police departments:

July 13 — Joseph A. Rock, 36, of East Butler, was charged with a first-offense DUI following a June 12 two-vehicle crash on Ekastown Road in Buffalo Township.Police said they found Rock was the driver of one of the vehicles, and he became frustrated and refused treatment from EMS. Police said field sobriety tests showed Rock was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood-alcohol content at 0.133%. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08% is considered intoxicated.

July 9 — Maranda G. Frayer, 34, of Butler, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, related to a drug bust at a Fairview Avenue home in Butler.Police said they requested to search Frayer's home, believing a man who fled from them may be there. Police said she agreed, and when police went inside they found a different man, who had an active warrant for his arrest, inside and intoxicated.Police said while searching the home, they then found written evidence of a drug transaction for about three bundles, or 30 stamp bags, of suspected heroin. Police said they also found six full stamp bags of suspected heroin, along with additional drug paraphernalia.

July 19 — Lucas J. McMaster, 34, of Prospect, was charged with possessing a controlled substance and paraphernalia, stemming from a July 16 report of a man slumped in his vehicle at Sheetz in Butler Township.Police said they found McMaster unconscious in the driver's seat of his vehicle, which was in the center of the gas pumps at the store.Police said inside McMaster's vehicle a stamp bag of cocaine was found, along with a butane torch.July 19 — Lamont A. Franklin Sr., 41, of Butler, was charged with driving with a suspended license, stemming from a July 17 traffic stop on Route 8 in Butler Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle because they knew Franklin, who owned the vehicle, to have a suspended license. Police said they confirmed this after pulling him over.July 14 — Ryan A. Glagola, 29, of Butler, was charged with theft, having stolen property and criminal mischief, related to copper wires stolen July 13 off a utility pole behind Point Plaza in Butler Township.Police said they found Glagola near the scene of the crime. Police said Glagola told officers he was looking for scrap metal from the dumpsters around the area.Police said they also found about 20 feet of copper wire that appeared to have been cut from a utility pole, which Glagola admitted to doing. Police said West Penn Power has requested $531 for repairs.July 13 — Joseph T. Bailie IV, 44, of Butler, was charged with a third-offense DUI and possessing a controlled substance, related to an investigation into a June 15 fight at the Sheetz in Butler Township.Police said they found Bailie leaving the parking lot as they arrived, and he was pulled over a short time later. Police said Bailie was taken to the hospital for a minor head injury suffered in the fight.Police said afterward they spotted marijuana and a pipe in plain view. Police said after further examination, they found bourbon that Bailie appeared to be drinking, and when they spoke with him at the hospital, he also appeared to be intoxicated.

July 14 — Bradley M. Pulling, 50, of Mars, was charged with leaving the scene of a June 8 vehicle crash on Cranberry Springs Drive in Cranberry Township.Police were dispatched to a report of a hit-and-run crash. Police said Pulling failed to stop after the crash occurred, and he drove two miles down the road before parking in a business parking lot and walking to his home.July 14 — Brieannon R. Geppi, 31, of Cranberry Township, was charged with tampering with evidence and possessing a controlled substance, related to a March 20 report of a confused woman.Police said they located Geppi in her vehicle, and she seemed impaired, which field sobriety tests confirmed. Geppi said she had a medical reason for failing the tests.Police said an officer witnessed Geppi slip some type of baggie from her purse into her bra. Police later allegedly found that she slipped out of her handcuffs and consumed whatever substance was in the baggie.Police said Geppi was taken to the hospital and had blood taken, but the bloodwork could not determine the substance. Police said they also found two pills of Xanax inside Geppi's purse, and they were not in a prescription bottle.

July 19 — Ryan A. Glagola, 29, of Butler, was charged with retail theft, related to the attempted theft of items on multiple occasions from Walmart in Butler Township.Police said in November 2020, employees stopped Glagola, who was attempting to leave without paying for about $334 worth of items. The employee told officers Glagola fled from the store, leaving the items behind.Police said they were called July 7 by an employee, who said Glagola was trying to steal from the store again. Police were able to positively identify Glagola through surveillance footage and knowledge about him from previous encounters.July 18 — Bella R. Burk, 22, of Grove City, was charged with disorderly conduct, related to a July 16 disturbance in Brady Township.Police said Burk had been walking through a creek and screamed for help for no reason, prompting the Unionville Fire Department and the Butler County Swift Water Team to respond.When police arrived at the scene, officers said they realized Burk was the same person they were called about earlier that day. Calls to the police claimed she was walking through people's yards and screamed for help. Police said she appeared intoxicated at the earlier call, and they dropped her off at the Corner Store and advised her to call for a ride.Police said Burk later admitted she was under the influence of heroin.July 14 — Myrra A. Armstrong, 19, of Stafford, Va., was charged with a first-offense DUI, stemming from a May 5 traffic stop in Worth Township.Police said they stopped the vehicle for a burnt out license plate light. Police said Armstrong admitted to marijuana use and handed over paraphernalia. Police said field sobriety tests showed Armstrong was impaired, and her blood was drawn for testing, the results of which were not available in the affidavit.A passenger, Jasmine N. Castillo, 21, of Manassas, Va., was also charged with possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.July 14 — Shelly M. Roman, 47, of Beaver Falls, was charged with possessing a controlled substance, stemming from a traffic May 26 traffic stop on Route 8 in Clay Township.Police said Roman was the passenger in the vehicle, whose driver had a suspended license and expired inspection. Police said Roman had 13 stamp bags of suspected heroin, along with other drug paraphernalia.
