State police in Clarion responded to a 911 call Friday night that led them to an abandoned vehicle on the Interstate 80 bridge near Emlenton.

The call, which was placed by a passing motorist, was received at 11:20 p.m.

State police troopers and members of the Emlenton VFD conducted a search Friday night and Saturday along the banks of the Allegheny River, but found nothing.

Searching in the river itself was not an option because the water was too high.
