Odd wild pitch costly to SV, 1-0

A strange wild pitch plated the game's only run in Seneca Valley's 1-0 home softball loss to Hempfield.

The Spartans scored in the first inning when the ball slipped out of the pitcher's hand during her back-swing. A runner scored from third as the ball rolled toward the shortstop.
