Knoch softball pulls out victory

Lily Hawk delivered a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning Wednesday, giving Knoch a 5-4 softball win over Burrell.

Hawk also produced a game-tying RBI double in the sixth inning.

Taylor Davis had a pair of doubles and Olivia Vissari doubled and singled in the Knights' victory.

Freeport ended its season at 15-4-1 with a 4-0 PIHL Class A playoff loss to unbeaten Indiana at Island Sports Center.The Yellowjackets were outshot 33-24.
