9:56 a.m. Sunday — A 17-year-old girl from Allison Park was charged for leaving her lane after she crashed a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze on Interstate 79 North.Police said the girl was near mile marker 95, when she traveled off the road and into an embankment.She refused medical transport at the scene.8:48 p.m. Saturday — One person was hospitalized and another was injured in a car crash on Chicora Road in Summit Township.Police said a 2011 Ford Fusion driven by Colby J. Snow, 19, of Petrolia, failed to stop at a traffic light and hit a 2021 Toyota Venza driven by Laura J. Whitney, 52, of Meadville.A passenger in the Venza, Gregory S. Leslie, 58, of Butler, was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with a suspected serious injury.Neither of the two passengers in Snow's car reported injuries, and neither did Whitney or her passenger.Snow has been charged with a traffic violation.8:14 a.m. Feb. 26 — One driver was charged in a two-vehicle crash that sent her to the hospital.Police said the driver of a 2014 Nissan Versa, Debra L. Gaus, 62, of Polk failed to stop at a stop sign, causing the crash with a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Amber M. Kennedy, 34, of West Sunbury.Gaus was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for a suspected minor injury.1:03 p.m. Feb. 24 — Police investigated the theft of a mailbox from a home on Cherry Road in Fairview Township.2:26 p.m. Feb. 17 — Police were dispatched to 448 Holyoke Road in Center Township for a fraud incident.The victim claimed multiple fake accounts were made in her name and used to purchase about $1,500 worth of items.11:45 p.m. Feb. 8 — Police investigated a theft by deception incident.Police said Alexis Bamber, 22, of Chicago, used Facebook Marketplace to steal $1,000 worth of items from the victim.Charges have not been filed, pending further investigation.4:52 p.m. Feb. 3 — A 38-year-old woman was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and multiple summary violations.The woman was driving a 2013 Nissan when police stopped her on New Castle Road.Police said they smelled marijuana coming from the car, and they conducted a field sobriety test, during which she showed signs of impairment.

5:55 a.m. Wednesday — The driver of a 2014 Dodge Caravan was taken to a hospital for an injury related to a car crash on the turnpike, mile marker 27.2, in Cranberry Township.Police said Theodore K. Scott, 49, of Ellwood City, became light-headed and tried to pull onto the shoulder of the road, but for an unknown reason did not stop and hit a fence and overturned the van.He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.
