Zimmerman answered the call and made it his Eagle Scout project with the help of members of Butler Troop 400. Zimmerman designed and built two boxes, one for food and one for books, using donated materials.

As of Saturday night Vicknovac, a former Adams firefighter and current captain for Middlesex Township, was on a ventilator in the hospital's covid ward.
