Patterson, Wetzel
Melissa Patterson and Scott Wetzel, both of Port Matilda, were united in marriage Sept. 19, 2020, at The Mansion in Penn Township. Pastor Barry Keurulainen officiated. A reception followed at The Mansion.
The bride is the daughter of Eric and Michelle Patterson of Portersville. Parents of the bridegroom are Jeff and Marcia Wetzel of Saxonburg.
The maid of honor was Andi Atwood of Slippery Rock. Bridesmaids included Emily Ray of Slippery Rock and Jenalee Smith of Virginia Beach, Va.
The flower girl was Madison Wetzel of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Ben Wetzel of Butler.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2014 graduate of Slippery Rock University.
She is employed by Penn State University, State College.
The bridegroom graduated from Knoch High School in 2005 and Duquesne University in 2011.
He is employed by Weis Markets in State College.
Following a honeymoon trip to Sedona, Ariz., the couple is making their home in Port Matilda.
