8:52 a.m. Monday — Trenton M. Gilhousen, 20, of Brookeville, crashed his car into a concrete barrier and into an embankment in the eastbound lane of Route 422. Police said Gilhousen lost control of the vehicle on a slick roadway and slid into the barrier.According to police, Gilhousen was uninjured. Eastbound traffic was stopped for a short time until the vehicle was towed from the scene.8:02 a.m. Monday — Katelyn Soldner, 26, of Butler, lost control and crashed her Jeep Cherokee on Route 422 due to icy and slushy conditions, according to police. Police said the Jeep struck an embankment, rolled multiple times and landed upright on the berm.Soldner was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for unknown injuries. The Jeep was towed from the scene. Butler Township Fire District and Butler City Fire Department assisted at the scene.

11:18 a.m. Feb. 9 — An unidentified vehicle struck an overhanging power line on Route 308 in Clay Township, damaging the line and a utility pole. Police said the pole fell across the road, blocking both lanes. The unknown driver did not stop or report the damage to police.11:19 a.m. Jan. 31 — Elizabeth G. Cutcher, 22, of Slippery Rock lost control of her car on snow-covered Bradley Road just south of Hunter Road in Worth Township, striking and shearing off a utility pole. She was not injured, but her car had to be towed.10:30 a.m. Jan. 28 — A 23-year-old East Butler man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a one-vehicle crash at Valvoline and Linwood drives in East Butler. Police said charges are pending. They did not release the driver's name.

8:52 p.m. Feb. 3 — A 66-year-old Worthington man was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Nichola Road in West Franklin Township. Charges are pending and police did not release the suspect's name.

10:10 a.m. Saturday — One person was injured when a pickup driven by Jeffrey A. Lancaster, 66, of Mars, and a minivan collided at Airport and Forrester roads in Fairview Township, Mercer County. Tracy L. Combs, 50, of Jackson was the other driver.Combs' passenger, Ester Troyer, 25, of Stoneboro, suffered an apparent minor knee injury. At least one of the vehicles had to be towed. Police cited Lancaster for a stop sign violation.

7:28 p.m. Feb. 15 — Anthony M. Blizman, 31, of Zelienople, was injured when he lost control of his car and struck a large rock and a tree along Route 488 just west of Hickernell Road in Perry Township. He was taken to Heritage Valley Hospital in Beaver County with unknown injuries. His car had to be towed.
