Paint with symphony fundraiser underway

The Butler County Symphony Association is conducting its “Paint with the Symphony” fundraiser through March 6.

Residents can purchase a painting kit through the symphony's partner, Brushes & Barstools, at brushesandbarstools.com.

The $30 kits will include all materials and an instructional video to create a music-themed painting at home.

Kits can be picked up from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 8 through 12 at the Butler County Symphony Orchestra office at 259 S. Main St. in Butler.

Those who donate $10 or more to the symphony between Feb. 15 and March 6 will receive a Butler Symphony Orchestra Association stemless wine glass with their painting kit.

Donations may be made at butlersymphony.org by clicking the “Donate” button.

“Paint with the Symphony” will benefit the symphony, which presented its first virtual concert, “All Baroque,” in November.

Additional virtual performances will be available this spring, with musicians using appropriate COVID-19 safety procedures.

For more information on “Paint with the Symphony” or donations, call David Cosgrove at 724-283-1402.
