SENTENCINGS

Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences Thursday:

Melissa M. Kasarda, 30, of Valencia, was sentenced to one to five years in jail, 150 hours of community service and $5,025 in fines for driving under the influence, having a blood-alcohol content of .02 or greater and presenting false identification to law enforcement. Kasarda was immediately paroled with the first year on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Kasarda was charged Feb. 27, 2019, and pleaded guilty Aug. 31.

Gregory P. Jones, 32, of Wexford, was sentenced to five years of probation, with the first 105 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring, and must pay a $1,500 fine for driving under the influence. Jones was charged Sept. 28 and pleaded guilty Jan. 25.

Derek S. Cameron, 23, of Slippery Rock, was sentenced to three months to a year in jail followed by two years of probation for strangulation and terroristic threats. Additionally, Cameron must serve the first nine months of his parole on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Cameron was charged May 22, 2018, and pleaded guilty June 2.

Lindsey R. Hissem, 35, of Enon Valley, was sentenced to six months of probation for tampering with evidence. Hissem was charged June 12, 2019, and pleaded guilty Jan. 15, 2020.

Amy Lynn Lambert, 45, of Tarentum, was sentenced to one year minus one day to two years minus one day in jail for criminal conspiracy to commit retail theft and retail theft. She must also serve two years of probation and pay more than $4,000 in restitution. Lambert was charged Oct. 1, 2019, and pleaded guilty Dec. 21.

Hilary Michelle McCrea, 31, of Chicora, was sentenced to one year of probation for possession of a controlled substance. She was charged June 3 and pleaded guilty Jan. 25. In a second case, she was sentenced to one year of probation for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was charged Oct. 28 and pleaded guilty Jan. 25.

Jason L. Callahan, 47, of Hilliards, was sentenced to one year of probation, with the first six months on house arrest with electronic monitoring, for driving with a suspended license (DUI related). Callahan was charged Dec. 18, 2019, and pleaded guilty Feb. 8.

Jeffrey James Rivers, 32, of Lyndora, was sentenced to six months of probation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Rivers was charged Sept. 28 and pleaded guilty Jan. 25.

Troy D. Lehnerd, 30, of Butler, was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in jail, $1,525 in fines for driving under the influence and traffic violations. Lehnerd was charged March 22, 2019, and pleaded guilty Jan. 22.
