The Rev. Kevin Fazio dusts ashes on the heads of kindergartners Olivia Black during a service at Butler Catholic School on Wednesday. Ashes were sprinkled this year, instead of being traced on the recipient's forehead, because of COVID-19. Ash Wednesday begins the Lenten season in the Roman Catholic Church.
