Stutz 100th birthday
Margaret Stutz, of East Butler, celebrated her 100th birthday Jan. 27.
Born in Jan. 27, 1921, to Harry and Margaret Steighner, the former Margaret Steighner was the oldest of eight children.
She married John A. Stutz on Nov. 27, 1941. He passed away Feb. 9, 1987.
She has three children, John Stutz of East Butler, Fran Stutz of East Butler and Wanda Bandura of Frostburg, Md. Her son Rick Stutz passed away on May 15, 2020.
She has nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also has two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Margaret worked different jobs before becoming a housewife and mother. She enjoys crocheting, playing bingo, reading and baking. Most of all, she enjoys being around her family.
Margaret is a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and has always been very devoted to her faith.
