One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash around 10:50 a.m. on South Monroe Street at Lookout Point Bridge. The wreck occurred when one of the drivers, a woman in her 50s, drifted into the opposing lane while northbound. Her Hyundai Elantra collided with a Toyota RAV4 headed south.

The driver of the Hyundai suffered minor injuries, but she refused transport to the hospital.

The other driver apparently was not injured.

Both vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed.

The road remains closed.
