Johns keys KC victory

Scores 14 as Gremlins win

Emma Johns scored 14 points and the Karns City girls basketball team grinded out a 35-20 home win over A-C Valley Thursday night.

The Gremlins (6-1) led 10-2 after the first quarter and 20-7 at the half.

Abby Callihan added nine points for Karns City.

Avah Burke paced A-C Valley with six points.
